Father of a football player arrested for stabbing two players after his son beat up the coach
You cannot make this story up. What the hell is our country doing? Police in Virginia arrested a man for stabbing two teenagers outside a Chesterfield Middle School.
Chesterfield Police Chief Jeffrey Katz said a private school was holding a football practice at Carver Middle School.
“During the practice, a coach decided to reprimand a 17-year-old player. The player made the decision to physically assault the coach. Two fellow players, a 17 and 18-year-old, made the courageous decision to intervene and protect their coach from the assault,” Katz said in a Facebook post.
The players were not doing anything but trying to stop their teammate from assaulting the coach, but the player who assaulted the coaches father came running over. That is when the father of the player beating up the coach pulled out his knife and began stabbing the two players trying to break up the altercation.
Both the two football players had to be taken to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. The stab wounds were to the chest and face.
Police arrested Turon M. Savoy Sr. a 46 year old man as he was trying to flee the school.
