Ravens linebacker Patrick Queen is my Defensive Rookie of the Year after 5 weeks
Patrick Queen is playing lights out right now for the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens rookie from LSU had a huge game this week against his former teammate Joe Burrow.
Yesterday, Queen scored a touchdown on a fumble recovery, and he is currently 9th in the NFL in total tackles. The former LSU Tiger has been a dog. His statline is better than most veterans in the NFL right now.
Queen has 42 tackles, 2 sacks, 5 tackles for loss, 2 forced fumbles, 2 fumbles recovered and a touchdown.
Another player that has been lights out this year is Jeremy Chinn on the Carolina Panthers. Chinn has 2 more tackles right now than Queen but the extra plays is why I am giving it to Queen.
I actually chose Queen as my DROY in the beginning of the year. As of right now he is making look like a genius!
