Saints benched Michael Thomas after fighting with a teammate, will not play Monday Night

Michael Thomas has been a bum in fantasy football this year, and it sounds like he has been a bum teammate too.

He was declared out of tomorrow’s Monday Night game and many believe it to be an injury.

Well, now it is being reported it was not injury related at all.

Saints’ WR Michael Thomas had an altercation with a teammate at practice this weekend, per league sources. Saints now disciplining Thomas by sitting him Monday night, when he was being listed as questionable with an ankle injury.

Thomas has been fined for conduct detrimental and won’t play Monday. He is expected to return to the team some time next week.

The Saints are punishing their star receiver, and you have to love that they are holding their players accountable. Something the NFL still has not done when dealing with the Tennessee Titans.
