Where will Le’Veon Bell land? I think Bell has a tough decision, but it has to be down to the Chiefs and Bills at this point. (Photo via @PrimeSingletary on Twitter)

Where will Le’Veon Bell land? There have been tons of teams mentioned over the past couple days, but this morning Jeremy Fowler said Le’Veon Bell has it narrowed down to three teams. Those three teams are the Dolphins, Chiefs and Buffalo Bills. I thought a reunion with the Steelers would be cool, but Fowler says that is unlikely at this point.

Well with these three teams I think we should break down which team makes the most sense. Because if Le’Veon is looking to get paid as well as looking for a prominent role, there is only one team that makes the most sense. Let’s see, what we have when breaking down the three teams.

Miami Dolphins – The Miami Dolphins need a running back. They have been using a running back by committee and it has not really worked that great. Myles Gaskin is the teams starting running back right now and the team barely uses running back Matt Breida who they traded for. The Dolphins have 521 yards rushing this season and Gaskin leads all rushers with 249 yards. They have 2 touchdowns on the ground, so they could absolutely use Bell. The Dolphins play the Jets in 3 days, which would likely not be enough time to get Bell on their roster, but you better believe the former Jets running back wants to stick it to his former team. They will face again though in November. When you look at the great State of Florida, there is no state tax. So the money would be more than in New York or Kansas City. The opportunity to play is there as well, but the Dolphins are not necessarily a contender at this point. They are third in the AFC East right now behind only the Jets. If he wants to get paid the Dolphins have the most cap space, so they make sense.

Kansas City Chiefs – The Chiefs drafted Clyde Edwards-Helaire from LSU in the first round and he has been the Bell-Cow back for the Chiefs. He has 344 yards rushing right now and has scored only 1 rushing touchdown. The Chiefs have 597 yards in total rushing and have scored 4 times. Edwards-Helaire has rushed the ball 81 times already. He would have to split time with Bell, but Bell can add a receiving option to the Chiefs. The Chiefs can utilize him out the backfield and give Mahomes another option. The Chiefs play the Jets in two weeks as well on 11/1. The Chiefs are the Super Bowl winners from last year so contender is there. The option is there. The Chiefs would make it interesting if Bell is looking to win it all. I mean, it would be hard to pass on the Chiefs if you feel they are Super Bowl worthy. It is hard to win a Super Bowl. Many greats never get that opportunity. There is no guarantee they will win it again, but at this point if you want to win over money, Chiefs are your option. The Chiefs currently have a little more than 6 million in cap space right now. But they could easily get Bell signed, but he will have to split carries.

Buffalo Bills – I am bias as hell but I am going to be as fair as I can. I do not want you to think because they are my team I want Bell. I would take Bell, if he could make my team better. He can absolutely make my team better. Bills leading rusher is Devin Singletary. He has ran the ball 61 times and has 238 yards rushing and 1 touchdown. The Bills have four touchdowns rushing and Josh Allen owns three of them. Josh Allen has 138 yards less than Devin Singletary on the ground. The Bills need a running back, and they need a player to come in and take charge. The Bills recently got smoked on Tuesday Night Football. They could not establish a running game against the Titans. Zack Moss has been banged up with a toe injury and the Bills have been playing TJ Yeldon. Overall the Bills have 469 yards rushing on the ground. Le’Veon Bell would be a Bell-Cow back in Buffalo and have a chance to compete. The Bills are in first place in their divison, they play the Chiefs on Monday Night and guess who their next game is against? The Jets. In his first game eligible to play, Bell would line up against his former team. The team that did not give him a true shot. Bell could tear up his former team and also get paid. The Bills have a little over 4 million in cap space right now. The Jets are still paying Le’Veon so that would be a benefit. At this point, the Bills make the most sense. The Bills head coach Sean McDermott confirmed the team reached out to Bell’s representatives as well.

I am not trying to be bias, because I am a Bills fan, but it all depends what Le’Veon Bell wants. If I am Le’Veon Bell I want a one year deal. You are going to get paid by the Jets, so at this point, you want to compete and try to win. It has to be the Chiefs or Bills at this point. I think Bell picks the Chiefs. Just my opinion, but I would definitely take him on my Bills.
