Steelers practice squad OL Jarron Jones arrested for domestic violence
According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Pittsburgh Steelers practice squad offensive lineman Jarron Jones was arrested on Saturday.
Jones was charged with aggravated assault, strangulation and simple assault.
According to the report, Jones, 26 and his girlfriend had a physical altercation on October 3rd during the early morning hours.
The Steelers are aware of the arrest and released this statement.
“We are aware of the situation regarding Jarron Jones,” Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert said in a statement. “We are gathering all of the details of these disturbing allegations, but we will not comment any further at this time.”
