Breaking: Falcons worked out former Akron DE/OLB Jamal Davis II
We are learning that former Akron Zips pass rusher Jamal Davis II worked out for the Falcons today.
Jamal Davis II entered the league as an undrafted free agent out of Akron in 2019 and originally signed with the Houston Texans.
After a short stint with the Texans, he was on the Colts practice squad and would eventually join the Dolphins. Last year he was a member of the Green Bay Packers before they released him.
Davis II was recently on the Tennessee Titans. The Falcons could use a pass rusher or two.
