FLEX Play of the Week: Hunter Renfrow, WR, Las Vegas Raiders
The Las Vegas Raiders are super hurt at the WR position and because of that Hunter Renfrow finds himself in a nice spot to be the guy for Derek Carr; possibly. Of course, Darren Waller remains the key focus of the Raiders passing attack but Renfrow can find himself looking at double-digit targets this week. The Raiders face a Buffalo Bills defense that has shown the slot is the soft spot so far this season. Jamison Crowder (7 catches/115 yards/1 TD), Mike Gesicki (8/130/1), Isaiah Ford (7/76/0) and Cooper Kupp (9/107/1) did their work from the slot and found success against the Bills. Last week against the Patriots Renfrow posted 6 catches on 9 targets for 1 TD and 84 yards. Going back to last season, Renfrow has 6 games where he has seen between 6-9 targets. Renfrow has 3 career games in which he has seen 9 targets and in every one of those games, he has scored. And in those 3 games, Renfrow has posted: 7/107/1, 6/102/1 and 6/84/1.
If you have Renfrow play him, or if you can add him on the waiver wire go ahead and snag him while you can. His outlook is sure to rise following a strong game this weekend coupled with all the injuries to the WRs.
