Fantasy Duds: Week 7 NFL players that did not show up to play
We thought after week 7 of the National Football League it would be important to breakdown the top players at each position who forgot to show up in Fantasy Football. There were some insane football games in week 7, some that went down to the and some that had teams winning we did not expect. Let’s break down the top 5 fantasy duds of week 7.
Quarterback
Cam Newton – Newton was a bum this week. Yes, he was benched, but we went 9/15 for 98 yards and threw three interceptions. The Patriots put in Jarrett Stidham who also threw a pick. The Patriots quarterbacks win this award today. Both were rough.
Running Back
David Johnson – The former UNI Panther had a rough game this week. He ran the ball 14 times for 42 yards and fumbled the ball. The Texans lost to the Packers and the Texans need more from Johnson if they want to win against a good football team.
Wide Receiver
Jarvis Landry – The Browns targeted other players but they lost Odell Beckham Jr. for the year. Landy will need to step up, and he didn’t last game. He finished with 5 receptions for 48 yards. Rashard Higgins stepped up more than Landry.
Tight End
Jonnu Smith – He had 1 reception for 9 yards. Anthony Firkser was also nowhere to be found. The Titans did not utilize their tight ends. I wish they would have gone to their TE’s more.
Defense
Las Vegas Raiders – The Raiders defense could not get to Tom Brady. They allowed 45 points and had just 1 QB hit. You have some solid pass rushers that need to get to the QB more. It was a bad performance.
