Yesterday, there was news that dropped about De’Vante Bausby signing with the Arizona Cardinals practice squad, well things are changing now. Four teams began blowing up the phones of Bausby’s agent. They wanted to sign him to their 53 man roster.
The Cardinals did not want to lose out on the former Pittsburg State standout, so they pulled the trigger and will be signing him to their 53 man roster now.
After initially failing to make Denver’s 53-man roster in August, Bausby signed with the Broncos’ practice squad.
When starter A.J. Bouye went on injured reserve, Bausby was promoted to the active roster and played well.
Bausby has bounced around the league since 2015, spending time with the Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, Chicago Bears and Philadelphia Eagles.
Bausby was an animal in the AAF leading the league in interceptions. The Cardinals are getting a solid player with great size and speed.
