Nevada starting defensive tackle Chris Green arrested in human trafficking case

Nevada’s starting defensive tackle Chris Green will spend time in jail for human trafficking.

Chris Green was expected to be the teams number one defensive lineman in Nevada. Last year, Green had his best season with the Wolfpack. He finished with 16 tackles during the season and 5.5 tackles for loss.

This year, Green was entrenched as the starter but that changed this week. Green was arrested Friday morning on two felony charges, including customer engaging in soliciting a child for prostitution.

The Wolf Pack defensive tackle also was charged with child abuse/neglect.

The penalty if found guilty for engaging in soliciting a child for prostitution is one to four years in prison and an optional fine of not more than $5,000.

The sad thing is the 6’2, 325 pound defensive tackle could have been preparing for the NFL Draft I’m January but will now spend time in jail. So sad, another career pissed away.

Obviously, we understand Green is innocent until proven guilty at Draft Diamonds, but this is one sure fire way to turn NFL scouts off, regardless of the outcome.
