Talk about your experience as a student. What is your major/minor? Did you participate in any other activities or campus organizations other than football?
My experience as a student is great. I’ve embraced The life of being on my own and going out the world and building connections.I personally take it seriously, because in 2 months I’ll be the first in my family to ever go to college and graduate. It’s a big standard I’m trying to set for the generations after me.

What do your teammates say is your best quality?
My team would say my best quality is being vocal. I will applaud you when you do good and also hold you accountable when you mess up.

What kind of role do you see yourself in on the team? What scheme and/or position suits your skill set?
My role on this team is to be a leader on and off the field. There’s a lot of guys that follow me so when we are in meetings or on the field I have to be dialed in. I am a natural man-to-man corner that can guard inside or out. My peers consider me as a versatile player that can do different things to put us in position to win.

Who is the best player you have ever played against in college?
The best player I ever played against in college is Antwan Custer.

Which one of your teammates impresses you the most?
One of my teammates that impresses me the most is our receiver Jon Cole. He has a lot of upside and is really confident when it comes to playing the game of football.

Describe a time in your life when you were able to overcome a struggle.
A time in my life when I was able to overcome a struggle has been recently. I have a lot of family issues going on right now that are affecting me mentally, so I had to make an adult decision and just stay in school and lock in. Mainly for me it was looking at the bigger picture: Do I make a decision within these few seconds that can affect my life forever or do I sit back and think and decide which gives me a better outcome down the line.

If you didn’t play football, what other sport would you play?
If I didn’t play football I would definitely play basketball. My hoop dreams just ended when I didn’t hit 6’2.

What is something that you are most proud of? What would you say is your biggest achievement?
The thing I am most proud of is that I am staying the course and I am about to graduate college. My biggest achievement is seeing a smile on mom’s face when she speaks about me to other parents. It’s an inspiration for me to continue to do more.

Describe one of the most memorable plays of your collegiate career.
First game and first drive at Sacramento State, it was the 2nd quarter. I had a huge hog on the opponent’s sideline. It woke me up and that’s how it all started.
