Breaking: Titans are working out former Toledo LB Tuzar Skipper
The Tennessee Titans are working out linebacker Tuzar Skipper this week. Skipper is a big linebacker standing at 6030 and weighing 246 pounds.
Skipper played football at Monroe College and would eventually land at Toledo to finish off his college career. He was an All-MAC player in 2018, and the hard hitting linebacker was able to find his way on the Steelers roster as an undrafted free agent.
Skipper made the initial 53 man roster of the Steelers, but prior to week 1 of last year, he was released. IT did not take long to find a home. The New York Giants claimed Skpper the next day. He would play several weeks for the Giants before getting placed on their practice squad.
In November, Skipper re-signed with the Steelers. The Steelers signed Tuzar off the Giants practice squad, where he remained the rest of the season.
Before the season started this year Skipper was released. It did not take long for teams to begin calling. The Titans who play tonight have Skipper in town. It will be interesting to see if they let the former Toledo standout leave town.
