There are 11 teams in the NFL that are 0-2 which team has the best shot to land Trevor Lawrence?

Trevor Lawrence
Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes have started. There are 11 teams in the NFL who have not won a game yet. What team will end up with Lawrence?

Jets, Dolphins, Bengals, Texans, Giants, Eagles, Vikings, Lions, Falcons, Panthers and Broncos are all 0-2. There is only one problem though, the Texans draft pick in the first round is owned by the Dolphins.

That is 11 teams, 11 teams out of the 32 in the NFL are 0-2, that is pretty wild. There are teams like the Texans and Falcons who have solid teams. When looking at these 0-2 teams which team do you think makes the most sense to land Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence?

New York Jets – The Jets are better than they are given credit for. I believe in Sam Darnold, but I do not believe in Adam Gase. Trevor Lawrence would be a huge get for the Jets, but I would not throw away the key on Sam Darnold yet. That is just me.

Miami Dolphins – The Dolphins just invested a top 5 pick in Tua, and if they are willing to use another top 5 pick on a quarterback they would not keep their jobs long. I think they are out.

Cincinnati Bengals – Joe Burrow is good in CIncy. No need to draft a QB.

Houston Texans – They traded the Dolphins their first round pick. So what your saying is the Dolphins could have the first and second pick in the NFL Draft? WOW, I may take him if I have two back to back first round picks.

New York Giants – Giants drafted Daniel Jones, I like him and I think they will give him at least another year or so, before they would even consider moving on from him.

Philadelphia Eagles – This is an interesting one. I mean you cannot be sold on Carson Wentz at this time. He has struggled in Philly. He has had his good runs, but he has also looked bad. The Eagles should be winning but injuries have hurt them. I would have to consider taking Lawrence here if I end up with the first pick.

Minnesota Vikings – You have to take Lawrence if you end up with the first pick. There is no question. Kirk Cousins has not proved to be worth anything in my opinion. I have a lot of faith in Mike Zimmer, but I have lost faith in Cousins. This would be a great landing spot.

Detroit Lions – Matthew Stafford has been impressive, but there is no way they have a shot at the first pick in the NFL Draft. They have too much talent. He is without Kenny Golladay right now and I think when he gets his team back around him they will start winning. I think there odds of having the top pick are better than the others.

Atlanta Falcons – This team has all the talent in the world, but they get too damn conservative. That is not players that is coaching. You should never lose a 20 point lead. If you do, that is because you stopped being aggressive. The Falcons and Matt Ryan are a perfect match, they just need a new coach. Can they get Dabo?

Carolina Panthers – This is a my sleeper team. They just lost Christian McCaffrey, he is their offense. You have Teddy Bridgewater and a bunch of decent wide outs trying to win. I think the Carolina Panthers could bring home the Clemson native. This move makes too much sense. They would pick up tons of new fans.

Denver Broncos – There is no way I would turn from Drew Lock after just a year and a half. They are a young team and I feel Lock is going to be a stud for years to come.

If I were to guess right now, Trevor Lawrence ends up on the Carolina Panthers. I would absolutely love this move. I would feel bad for Teddy, because the kid never truly gets his shot, but you cannot pass on Lawrence if you are the Panthers.
