AFC

One reason that can go against each AFC team in their race to win the Super Bowl

The AFC is going to be tough to beat this year. There are some tough teams including the Super Bowl Champions the Kansas City Chiefs.

The most awaited NFL 2020 season kick-started yesterday (September 10, 2020). The opening game saw the defending champions Kansas City Chiefs host the Houston Texans. This is the start of the four-month-long sporting extravaganza and everyone is excited about it.

This season there weren’t any preseason games and there won’t be any crowds either (at least for the initial months). NFL 2020 is also expected to witness a huge surge in the betting activity, both prior to and during the games. As sports betting is now legal in many American states, both sportsbooks & punters are eagerly looking forward to every game of the ongoing NFL season. Indiana became the most recent state to legalize sports betting in its jurisdiction. With Indiana sports betting going live, a great multitude of sports bettors in the Hoosier state will now be able to wager money on their favorite sports and events.

Now let’s have some fun and find out that one thing that can or may go wrong for each of the NFL teams. These are not based on hardcore stats or data; it is more of intuition and gut feeling. Enjoy!

AFC East

Buffalo Bills

Since 1995 Bills have had some aversion to winning playoffs. Though they have some amazing players, yet never won the playoffs since 1995. Will history repeat for this team in 2020?

Miami Dolphins

Miami’s team needs to give way to the young talents from their second team. If they go by their current roster, we don’t see them lifting the cup in the next few years.

New England Patriots

Cam Newtown is yet to find his 2015 form and the team strategy has some big loopholes that they need to close.

New York Jets

Lack of star players has doomed the team and that’s the primary reason why the cup is a distant dream for this team.

AFC North

Cincinnati Bengals

Remember the times when emails were not present, we used to write letters? This team has not won a single playoff since time immemorial.

Cleveland Browns

Their defense has the habit of clamping their offenses in the red zone. If this does not change, I don’t see Browns having any chance.

Baltimore Ravens

Their best quarterback – Lamar Jackson often gets hurt or drops off. Need to keep him safe.

Pittsburgh Steelers

Ben Roethlisberger missed last season and yet to find his form. Without this quarterback, the Steelers are in a vulnerable position.

Gardner Minshew
Gardner Minshew #15 of the Jacksonville Jaguars looks like aFranchise quarterback for the Jaguars, but can they get over the hump?

AFC South

Indianapolis Colts

Philip Rivers might get tired while driving all day from San Diego each week.

Jacksonville Jaguars

This team is having one shining star, quarterback – Gardner Minshew, and a group of inexperienced rookies. Lack of good talent still haunts the team.

Houston Texans

Quarterback Deshaun Watson has a record of being sacked 120 times in the past two years.

Tennessee Titans

Do you still believe that Ryan Tannehill will have one more career year? Either you believe in miracles or the Instagram quotes that never happens.

AFC West

Denver Broncos

John Elway loves his offense too much than his defense and the team is yet to recover from the loss of Von Miller.

Los Angeles Chargers

They do not get the emotional support from their fans and this year it’s likely to get worse.

Kansas City Chiefs

Now that they have already won a Superbowl, they might become complaisant this year.

Las Vegas Raiders

If the team does not change their ae old gameplay, nothing will change for the Raiders. Has anyone won Superbowl from Las Vegas?

All these teams will take the field in the coming months and it would be very interesting to find out how they perform and will the odds go against or in favor of them. Let’s wait and watch!
