I love UAB football, I am glad it is back and doing well. You know who is crushing it this year for the Blazers? Running Back Spencer Brown is a machine. The Alabama native has been one of the best running backs we have been able to watch on film so far this year. COVID-19 has helped him out big time, because NFL teams are paying attention to his skills.
This year he has already broke the schools record for career rushing touchdowns. Brown has 306 yards on the ground in three games, and he is balling.
Brown, who rushed for 105 yards, scored three times to set the school record for career rushing touchdowns, this past week against South Alabama. His record-setting 36th career score came in the second quarter and passed Pat Green (1991-94).
Brown has been a stud, he came to UAB and was named Freshman of the year. he was also on the Doak Walker Watch List as Freshman. As a Sophomore he was a first team All-Conference USA back and won the MVP in the Championship game.
He entered this year with 3,122 career rushing yards, and is showing he belongs in the NFL. He is a bigger back that runs with a head full of steam. At 6000, 200 pounds the Warrior, Alabama native should be on an NFL roster next year. He is proving he can be a huge impact player at the next level.
Spencer Brown is a dog! I am a monster fan of UAB football and this kid is something special. I feel the NFL scouts were able to get a better look at him with limited games in the fall. This will help out Brown big time because it put him on the platform early. The UAB football team looks good this year, and Brown has been a problem for every team he has faced. He is a big back that has some Raheem Mostert type abilities. I am a fan, and I know he will get a shot at the next level. – Damond Talbot, Owner, NFL Draft Diamonds
