The North American Stallions hit the road for the first time in program history. The Stallions, victorious in their debut the previous week against the CMP Prep Academy Drillers were on a mission.

The three-plus hour bus ride to Lafayette gave the Stallions time to mentally prepare. The Stallions were set to battle the Louisiana Community Christian Huskies. The Huskies were making their program debut. The Huskies mission was simple, beat the Stallions in their debut. Compromised of local talent, the Huskies came out firing on all cylinders. The Huskies found their way into the end zone for the first time in program history by ground. The Huskies then opened up stunning the Stallions. Going into half time, the Huskies led 20 to 6.

Two touchdowns on offense and then one on defense, an interception returned for a touchdown. The Stallions coaching emphasized how important it was to not let the scoreboard dictate the outcome. A very emotional half time sparked the Stallions offense and defense. It finally started to click. The defense swarmed the Huskies offense. Stallions Quarterback #12 Anthony Beltran took advantage of the reasonable field provided by the defense and picked apart the Huskies.

Behind great play from the offensive line, Beltran found his receivers easily which led to points. The Stallions also found the end zone on the ground. The Stallions running backs bounced around the Huskies defense like a pinball. On a Special Teams play, #28 of the Stallions absolutely destroyed a Huskies gunner. #28 also contributed to the offense.
