Mike Leach’s first game in the SEC was fun and he punched LSU in the mouth

Mike Leach just beat the defending National Champions and he did it in a way that has never been done before in the SEC.

MIKE “FREAKING” LEACH! That is all I am going to say.

Today Mike Leach proved that his air raid offense was a much needed addition to the SEC. In his first game coaching in the big bad SEC, Mike Leach and the Mississippi State Bulldogs played the defending NCAA National Champions. Louisiana State did lose quite a bit of players last year, including Joe Burrow, but let’s not get it twisted they still have several top prospects on their roster.

Mike Leach, however, has a transfer QB. That quarterback is K.J. Costello. K.J. Costello broke the SEC record today in his first game, and Mike Leach in his first game coaching broke an SEC record for most passing yards. Are you kidding me? Mike Leach just called a game where his quarterback a transfer, who came in with Leach, threw for 623 yards breaking a record.

LSU did not know what to do. They were lost, they could not slow down the Bulldogs. Mike Leach has done this at Texas Tech, he did it recently at Washington State and now he is going to tear up the SEC.

I have been saying Mike Leach is the best offensive mind forever, I get picked on big time too. I think Mike Leach just showed out.

Mike Leach and company won big. 44 points on LSU defense is impressive. I do not care what you say. You cannot convince me. I hope Mississippi State wins it all this year.

Since Coach Leach became an FBS head coach in 2000, his teams have passed for 600 yards in a game 11 times, while all other FBS teams combined have done it 9 times.
