Three teams that should send a draft pick to the Dolphins for QB Josh Rosen

Josh Rosen
Former UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen is on the trade block. Could the Dolphins end up trading him to a team in need of a back-up.

Today, Adam Schefter announced on Twitter that Josh Rosen of the Miami Dolphins is on the trade block.

Rosen has not had the easiest path in the NFL. I thought when leaving college he would have been the top quarterback in the draft class, and boy was I wrong. I still feel that he never really went to a place he could shine. Now, after years in the NFL, the chances of that happening are slim to none.

I still wanted to take a second and find three teams that could benefit from having Josh Rosen on their roster. I still feel deep down inside that Rosen can help a team. He is a very smart individual, but right now he is buried behind Tua and Ryan Fitzpatrick in Miami.

Let’s look at three teams that could benefit from trading for Josh Rosen.

1.) Tennessee Titans – They currently have Ryan Tannehill who did a terrific job to lead his team deep in the playoffs, but what happens if he gets hurt? That is the real question here. Tannehill’s backup is Logan Woodside and recently signed Trevor Siemian. I think Josh Rosen is better than both of them if truly given a shot. I mean what harm can it do if you send a late round pick for the former Bruins QB?

2.) Los Angeles Rams – Send the kid back to Cali. I mean Jared Goff’s backup is John Wolford. Josh Rosen to me is an upgrade. I think the Rams would be silly not to inquire. I think Rosen in Sean McVay’s system would flourish. I mean what do you have to lose a late round pick? I think the Rams should be the first team to call.

3.) Atlanta Falcons – I do not think they are happy with their quarterbacks. They just signed Kyle Lauletta the other day. What does that tell me? That tells me that they still have question marks about their third or even back-up quarterback. Josh Rosen can come in and learn the offense quick. He also would have some weapons in Atlanta.
