Fantasy Studs: Week 2 Fantasy Football players who dominated

Aaron Jones Fantasy Studs
Green Bay Packers’ Aaron Jones ran wild on the Detroit Lions yesterday. He was the fantasy stud of Week 2.

We thought after week 2 of the National Football League it would be important to breakdown the top players at each position in Fantasy Football. There were some insane football games in week 2, some that went down to the wire and some that had teams winning we did not expect. Let’s break down the top 5 fantasy studs of week 2.

Quarterback

Dak Prescott, QB, Dallas Cowboys – I was going to give the award to Josh Allen for the second week in a row, but I have to give Dak Prescott a ton of credit. His come back win over the Falcons this week to go along with his 450 passing yards was impressive. Dak you showed your true heart yesterday. I am a big fan.

Running Back

Aaron Jones, RB, Green Bay Packers – The Packers run game was impressive yesterday against the Lions. Aaron Jones rumbled for 168 yards on the ground and scored twice. Nick Chubb was in the running, but Jones piled on the yards. He finished with 40 plus more yards on 4 less carries. Aaron Jones was a dog in week 2.

Wide Receiver

Julian Edelman, WR, New England Patriots – Edelman was a beast last night. He did not score a touchdown but he finished with 8 receptions for 179 yards receiving. Edelman was tackled on one play that looked like he could have been badly hurt, but he bounced right up. Patriots lost but Edelman balled out.

Tight End

Mike Gesicki, TE, Miami Dolphins – Gesicki ate up the Buffalo Bills defense. He was making some insane catches in traffic. Gesicki finished the game with 8 receptions for 130 yards and one touchdown. He was open all game long and he was constantly eating in the middle of the field.

Defense

Indianapolis Colts – The Colts defense shut down the Vikings yesterday. It was ugly. They held the Vikings to 80 rushing yards, and 113 passing yards. Kirk Cousins was intercepted 3 times, and the Colts also added a safety. The Colts finished with 3 sacks too. The Colts defense definitely win this weeks award!
