Fantasy Football Injury Report: San Francisco 49ers

49ers Injury Report
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Kendrick Bourne is a player that we expect to break out in 2020. The 49ers are dealing with the injury bug and #84 is destined to have a big game.

By Craig Forrestal

Deebo Samuel has been ruled out of the game Sunday against Arizona for the 49ers and due to air quality issues, Tevin Coleman may not play either. The air quality issue for Coleman is linked to a sickle cell trait. So many fantasy footballers are scanning the room for an available play in case they had hopes for either of them. Thankfully, there are options already on the roster that might solve your issues.

Deebo Samuel Out, Kendrick Bourne In

Bourne is entering his 4th season in the NFL and has 9 career TDs; all of which have come over the last 2 seasons. Bourne provides a big enough target at 6ft1/203. The announcement on Samuel automatically propels him in the starting lineup and with Brandon Aiyuk not a sure bet to play Bourne could be in for a big day. Jimmy Garoppolo destroys the Cardinals and George Kittle can only catch so many balls in one game. Bourne makes for a sneaky WR3/Flex play. Bourne is 8% Rostered in Yahoo! Leagues.

Tevin Coleman Questionable, Jerick McKinnon Awaits

Stop me if you’ve heard this before Jerick McKinnon has a shot at being fantasy relevant. He plays in a run-heavy offense and Tevin Coleman may not take the field Week 1. McKinnon is coming off some injury-plagued days and is looking to prove he still belongs in the NFL. Reports from the 49ers camp have been positive on McKinnon; particularly in his role as a pass-catching RB. If the 49ers are to be without 2 WRs and 1 RB on Sunday, then I really like McKinnon as a DEEP sleeper. McKinnon is 10% Rostered in Yahoo! Leagues.
