Fantasy Football: Five rookies that you should start in week 1

Fantasy Football Preview
Minnesota Vikings rookie WR Justin Jefferson is my must-start player in week 1 of Fantasy Football.

This week the NFL is back!!! I thought it would be great to come up with a list of five rookies that you should consider starting week 1. Some of these players will be high impact players, and there are a couple big time sleepers.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire, RB, Kansas City Chiefs v. Houston Texans D – In his first game I am expecting 100 yards. People want to watch football and these players are ready. CEH is going to tear up the Texans defense. I am going on record to say he will finish the game with 24 carries and 119 yards. He will also score a touchdown. I think he will be a very good start.

Henry Ruggs, WR, Las Vegas Raiders v. Carolina Secondary – Ruggs is a burner, and the Panthers corners are both young guys. I am not saying they won’t be ready but I think Ruggs is going to have a huge game. I think he will have at least one 50 plus yard touchdown in the game. The Panthers starting secondary is rough right now, and until they add some veteran leadership they will struggle. This has been their Achilles heel for a long time.

Fantasy Football Tyler Bass
If you are looking for a sleeper in Fantasy Football pick up Buffalo Bills kicker Tyler Bass. The kid has a power leg.

Tyler Bass, K, Buffalo Bills v. New York Jets Special Teams – Listen, he is a rookie but the kid has a bomb for a leg. If you are in need of a kicker this is your player. You have to trust me on this, he will hit at least one 50 plus kick on Sunday. The ball jumps off his foot and they are playing the Jets. I think the Bills win big so you will get some extra points as well.

James Robinson, RB, Jacksonville Jaguars v. Indianapolis D – The former Illinois State running back has been a workhorse his entire life. This will not slow down. I think the former Redbird will tear up the Colts defense. The Colts have improved their front seven tremendously but I think Robinson will still get 85 plus yards and a touchdown.

Justin Jefferson, WR, Minnesota Vikings v. Green Bay Packers secondary – Get ready for a huge game. Jefferson to me was the most underrated prospect in the entire NFL Draft. He is huge, and can make a deep ball. After week 1 we will be calling Justin Jefferson Mini-Moss, remember what I am saying. I think Jefferson has 7 receptions for 140 and 2 touchdowns over the Packers corners.
