The Buffalo Bills were hoping Josh Norman would be ready for week 1 of the season, but after sustaining an injury and getting placed on injured reserve the Buffalo Bills will now turn to free agency to find a cornerback.

We are learning that Dayan Lake Ghanwoloku the former BYU cornerback is in town and will workout for the Buffalo Bills.

Lake is a 5’10 cornerback from Layton, Utah that weighs 200 pounds. He was a three star recruit coming out of high school and signed with BYU Cougars.

Lake started 43 of 48 games at BYU, compiling 207 career tackles (149 solo), 10.5 tackles for loss and two sacks as well as three forced fumbles and 15 career pass breakups. He finished as the Cougars’ all time leader in fumble recoveries (seven) and was second in interception return yards (226) and fourth in interceptions with seven.

After an impressive game at the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl, Lake caught the eye of the Rams scouts. After going undrafted in the 2020 NFL Draft, Lake would sign a contract with the Los Angeles Rams.

Lake was born in Liberia and at the age of five he came to the United States with his sister Yassah. His father was a soccer player.
