Colin Kaepernick calls Law Enforcement “White Supremacist Institution” and wants to abolish Police
Colin Kaepernick posted this just 35 minutes ago. He said that police stole the life of Breonna Taylor and called Law Enforcement “The White Supremacist Institution.
He also called to Abolish the Police. I am not sure what he is trying to get to here, because this labels all law enforcement as bad. As a law enforcement officer myself, I am disappointed with this comment. I have supported Kaepernick quite a bit for sticking up for his beliefs and to use his platform, but this is not sending the right message.
If you haven’t heard one law enforcement officer Brett Hankison was charged with wanton endangerment on Wednesday for shooting into a neighboring apartment during the March incident, while no charges were presented in connection to Taylor’s death, nor were the other two officers charged with any crimes.
I understand that there are going to be some people upset with the case, but is this the way you handle it? By calling Law Enforcement Officers White Supremacists?
