A potential top 10 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft has opted out of the season

Penn State linebacker Micah Parsons becomes the 8th player to opt out of the 2020 season. This is huge news.

Micah Parsons the Penn State linebacker has become the 8th player to opt out of the 2020 NCAA season due to COVID-19.

Parsons is by far the highest player who has opted out so far. Yesterday, Rashod Bateman of Minnesota and recently Caleb Farley of Virginia Tech are also highly projected players to opt out.

The eight players who have opted out already are:

  1. Caleb Farley, Virginia Tech
  2. Micah Parsons, Penn State
  3. Rashod Bateman, Minnesota
  4. Ra’Von Bonner, Illinois
  5. Kevin Doyle, Arizona
  6. Kassidy Woods, Washington State
  7. Oren Milstein, Vanderbilt
  8. Jomaious Williams, New Mexico State

Parsons is expected to make an official announcement on Wednesday.
