Pennsylvania Star HS football player Michael Barbuto has been charged for murdering his brother

Michael Barbuto was a dog for Central Valley High School in Pennsylvania. He was a big and physical wide out and tackling machine at corner. Now he is likely headed to prison.

Barbuto, 18 if facing homicide charges for the shooting death of his older brother. Vincent Barbuto was shot multiple times back on July 15th. Police have worked hard to find out who shot the older Barbuto, but police have finally made an arrest.

Vincent Barbuto was shot multiple times to the chest. and died on the scene. According to the Post Gazette, the police had surveillance video showing the family car show up at the scene then flee.

According to an affidavit of probable cause, multiple eyewitness accounts and video surveillance noted that a gray/silver Honda sedan was parked in the area of Vincent’s home between roughly 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., which is when investigators believed the shooting occurred.

In police interviews, Michelle Barbuto, the mother, revealed she owned a Honda sedan that matched the description of the car seen by witnesses and in surveillance footage. She also told police that Michael had use of the vehicle during the time it was in the area of Vincent Barbuto’s home.

Police also said Michael Barbuto’s cellphone was in the area of his brother’s home during the same timeframe, according to the criminal complaint.
