According to TMZ Sports, many believe it happened after the football team’s head coach supported a recently hired principal at the school who just happens to be black.

No Hate Here
Racism is still relevant in 2020, it is sad, but there are still ignorant people. Calvert High School responded after a racist attack by showing the school there is NO HATE HERE! I LOVE IT!!!

Maryland Congressman Steny H. Hoyer responded to the graffiti with the following statement:

The racist graffiti painted on the Calvert High School football field over the weekend is disgusting and abhorrent. This act of hate and bigotry in our community is horrific, and cannot be condemned strongly enough. I urge local law enforcement to bring those responsible for this heinous act to justice. Hate has no place in Southern Maryland.
