UCF football players demand a professor is fired after his comments on black mothers being uneducated

Greg McCrae
UCF football players Greg McCrae and McKenzie Milton both have been calling for their University to fire a professor who had some pretty horrible comments.

UCF players are pissed that one of their professors made a pretty horrible comment, that stereotyped African Americans and their mothers. His tweet was wrong and the players are not very happy about it.

Now, the players at UCF are demanding the professor is fired.

This subgroup of Blacks has *lots* of problems (many likely missing fathers, having dysfunctional, uneducated mothers, surrounded by peers with sociopathic tendencies). Lots of obstacles in life. No one knows what the solution is to this complicated situation.— Charles Negy

The first person to call professor Negy out was Greg McCrae, the standout running back for the Knights.

@CharlesNegy is a racist & sexist professor who is currently employed by my university. I do not condone comments and tweets that he has made openly disgracing others because of their race or gender. @UCF @UCFCartwright #UCFfirehim— Greg McCrae

McCrae wants a change

McCrae asked people to sign a change.org calling for Negy to be fired. McCrae was not the only one to standup. Several players including quarterback McKenzie Milton went off on Twitter. McCrae would like to have Negy fired. He started a petition but Negy is a tenured professor so it maybe harder to get rid of him.

Here is a doc form that you can use to write about an encounter you have had with Professor Negy. I encourage all UCF students current or alum to retweet this, share this, and spread to others. https://t.co/y5FTJ37z61— Greg McCrae (@NikeheadGreg) July 1, 2020

I guess you can say the ball in your court UCF. Will anything happen? We will see!
