My mobility inside and outside of the pocket, my athletic ability and my speed.

If you won the lotto, what is the first thing you would do with the money?

I would save it and live off its interest. I would then make some low-risk investments, but I would not buy anything with it.

What has been your biggest failure?

I failed to win the provincial championship in my first year of high school.

What do your teammates say is your best quality?

My competitive nature and the positive energy I bring to the locker room.

Who is the hardest working teammate on your team?

Michael Reid, a 5th year linebacker on my team.

Have you ever had a nickname? What is it?

Trizzy.

What is your degree in, if you do not make it as a football player, what is your dream job?

I’m currently studying Recreation and Sport Business. If I failed to make it as a football player, I would love to coach football. I’m also very interested in astronomy; therefore, I would probably pursue that passion as a career.

What is your coolest life moment?

Last year, I was lucky enough to be featured in a CFL original video-interview showcasing 3 generations of Black QBs in Canada. The time I got to spend with Chuck Ealey and Damon Allen, two CFL legends, is a memory I’m always going to treasure.

Seattle Seahawks.

I have a fear of failure. Specifically, I fear underperforming and not reaching my full potential. I fear disappointing every person who invested their time and energy into my football career.

Who is the most underrated player in the NFL?

I believe Lamar Jackson is underrated as a passer.

Take us through game day, how do you prepare?

To loosen up, I like to take a couple shots with a basketball before going to the locker room and getting dressed. I don’t like to do a lot before a game, I don’t listen to music or have any rituals. I just try to relax and stay in the zone while I await going onto the field.

Do you have any hobbies?

In my free time, I enjoy playing video games with my friends and playing pick-up basketball. Additionally, I greatly enjoy coaching the University of Waterloo women’s football team during my off-season.

If you had to compare yourself to someone in the NFL, who would that be?

Russell Wilson.

Who has been the biggest influence on your life and explain why?

At this point in time, the biggest influence on my life would be my dad and my twin brother.  They have always supported me in life and in football. My father’s single-minded focus on my football career has allowed me to excel in this sport. I see the sacrifices my family has made for me and I use that as fuel to strive for success. The love I receive from my family has shaped me into the man I am today.

What motivates you to work hard?

My family consistently motivates me to work hard. My father has always pushed me to strive to be the best. My twin brother and I have a competitive rivalry that constantly pushes me to be better. They’re also an amazing support system who always cheer me on. Their faith in my football ability is my largest motivating factor.
