Tell us about your university/college. Did you participate in any other activities or campus organizations other than football?
Hanover College is one of the best things that has happened to me. Hanover is a private liberal arts college that has helped push me in my academics by having small classes and a higher level curriculum. I did not participate in any other on campus activities due to focusing on school in the off season.

What do your teammates say is your best quality?
My teammates would probably say that my best quality is the will to never give up. No matter what point in a game or practice I will push my teammates to be better than they were the day before and to reach their full potential.

What kind of role do you see yourself in on the team? What scheme and/or position suits your skill set?
The role that I see myself having in my team is being a leader. I have been on our starting offense since I was a freshman so I know our offense like the back of my hand. Every year I take on a role of teaching the new freshman or transfers how the offense is played and show them the work ethic it takes to be on the field every day.  A scheme that suits me would be a system that can get me out in space to make a play. I succeed when I can get in the open field and make someone miss but I also have the will to run in between the lines to grind out a couple yards. I am versatile and can catch the ball out of the back field or in the slot.

Who is the best player you have ever played against in college?
The best college football player that I have played against was Mount Union’s middle linebacker last year in the NCAA division 3 playoffs.

Which one of your teammates impresses you the most?

The teammate that impresses me the most is our running back that splits reps with me every year. Walt Ballinger works harder than anyone I have ever seen and even though he doesn’t start he has the best attitude and still comes every day to practice to compete and give it his all.

Describe a time in your life when you were able to overcome a struggle.
My sophomore year of high school I moved from my hometown of Ramona, California. In Ramona I was on a team that was 8-2, and we strived to be the best every year. When I moved to Evansville, Indiana I played at Evansville North where football wasn’t taken as seriously, and I was forced to play positions I had never played. This didn’t stop me from taking every opportunity to make myself that much better in that role to make it a possibility for us to win.

If you didn’t play football, what other sport would you play?
If I didn’t play football, I would have wrestled. Wrestling was a part of my life until I got to college. Wrestling is by far the hardest sport I have ever played but there’s nothing better than battling it out 1v1 for 6 minutes.

What is something that you are most proud of? What would you say is your biggest achievement?
Being able to play the sport that I love at a higher level and I strive every day to get the opportunity to play after college.

Something that I am most proud of was being chosen as the Offensive Player of the Year for HCAC and breaking 3 records last year. Every year, I strive to be better than I was the last.

Describe one of the most memorable plays of your collegiate career.
Last year in our conference championship game I scored a 60 yard touchdown to pretty much seal the game. I finished the day with 4 touchdowns. It was easily the best game I’ve played in my college career.

My favorite professional team is the Baltimore Ravens, and my favorite athlete is Alvin Kamara. Kamara has the ability to catch out of the backfield and the ability to run up the middle to grind out yards. I watch him every chance I get to get ideas on how to better my game.
