Tell us about your university/college. Did you participate in any other activities or campus organizations other than football?
A lot of volunteering but never joined another organization.

What do your teammates say is your best quality?
Versatility- The only position I did not play this year was Dline. Depending on how the game is going, if we’re getting attacked through passing or running usually determines if I’m playing as a DB or lining up in the box as a LB.

What kind of role do you see yourself in on the team? What scheme and/or position suits your skill set?
I see myself as a wildcard, a guy that the coaches can use however they see fit whether it’s blitzing, man or zone coverage, stopping the run, etc.

Who is the best player you have ever played against in college?
That would be Marcus Bagley. He was a running back we had through my sophomore year, big back with quick feet and always knew where the hole was. We went heads up a lot, and it was always fun.

Which one of your teammates impresses you the most?
James Watkins. He’s consistently dominated his matchups since arriving but remains humble and hardworking.

Describe a time in your life when you were able to overcome a struggle.
After I graduated high school, I was unable to accept any offer due to some circumstances out of my control. I ended up losing my offers because schools were unwilling to wait for me, and it was hard not knowing if I’d play football again. Luckily Saint Francis waited, and I ended up joining the team during the spring semester. It was a struggle but it humbled me and gave me new appreciation for the game knowing the next play could be my last.

If you didn’t play football, what other sport would you play?
Soccer for sure. I didn’t play football until I got to high school, before that it was all soccer all the time.

What is something that you are most proud of? What would you say is your biggest achievement?
Being the first in my family to get a college education.

Describe one of the most memorable plays of your collegiate career.
Against James Madison, it was a goal line stance, and they ran a triple option. I stripped the quarterback, but unfortunately they recovered it in the endzone. It’s the most memorable because I was able to read their formation and knew what was coming. That was when it clicked for me. After that, I started to predict more plays based on formation and tendencies.

Do you have a favorite athlete or professional team? Is there a player that you model your game after?
I model my game after Troy Polomalu. He was everywhere on the field, always giving 100 percent and never complained or begged for attention.

Who is your favorite music artist? What gets you pumped before a game?
My favorite artist is Shy Glizzy, a rapper from the DMV. I always wake up pumped on game days, I don’t really have a routine, the only thing I consistently do pre game is pray.

What is your favorite comfort food?
Crabs

Do you have a favorite movie or actor?
Mahershala Ali

What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any hobbies? Any secret talents?
I like to play video games or read. Recently started learning the piano.

Who or what motivates you the most?
My younger brothers. I want their life to be as easy as possible and to have all the resources they need to max out their potential.
