When breaking down your film what will stick out?

• While watching my film you will see the high effort and intensity along with unique skills from wrestling that cross over to help me make plays.

If you won the lotto, what is the first thing you would do with the money?

• If I won the lottery the first thing I would do with the money is help my family out with anything they would need. I want to make sure the people who helped get me to the place I am right now are taken care of.

What has been your biggest failure?

• I would have to say not winning a football state championship while I was in high school.

What do your teammates say is your best quality?

• I think they would say my never quit attitude or that I am a hard worker.

Who is the hardest working teammate on your team?

• The hardest worker on my team is Matt Schoh. He is always trying to get better. He gets there earlier, stays later, and is always watching film. He is always about what is best for the team and taking care of business.

Have you ever had a nickname? What is it?

• The most common one would be Maggs. I have two older brothers so it has been a nickname that has been passed down over the years.

What is your degree in, if you do not make it as a football player, what is your dream job?

• My degree is in Criminal justice. My dream job would be something in law enforcement, either local or a U.S. Marshal service.

Who is the most underrated player in the NFL?

• Danielle Hunter. He is one of the best pass rushers in the game and doesn’t get the recognition he deserves. His pursuit of the ball and never giving up on plays make him very valuable to the Vikings.

Take us through game day, How do you prepare?

• For game day I will wake up and go to our first walk through of the day, eat breakfast, come back and chill with my roommates/teammates till our second walkthrough. After that, I will relax with the guys until it is time to head to the stadium. After getting to the field I will usually walk the field with some headphones on visualizing and getting a feel for the field while listening to music. Getting dressed and stretching out then it’s time for pre-game warm-ups and then game time!

Do you have any hobbies?

• My hobbies are hunting, fishing, and hanging out with my friends and family.

If you had to compare yourself to someone in the NFL, who would that be?

• I would say Aaron Donald because he is a versatile player and can play anywhere on the D-line but makes a very tough matchup on the inside in pass pro.

Who has been the biggest influence on your life and explain why?

My parents are the biggest influences in my life. They have a find a way attitude that has taught me how to never give up and to get through anything life throws at me. Respect and hard work are two of the most important things I’ve learned from them.

What motivates you to work hard?

What motivates me to work hard is that my teammates are counting on me to do my job on and off the field to the best of my ability. I want to be the best at what I do to prove to the doubters that they are wrong and I want to be the greatest player and teammate.
