What is your major/minor? During your collegiate experience, have you participated in any other activities or campus organizations other than football?

I majored in Manufacturing management. During my collegiate experience I’ve participated in multiple activities, and campus organizations such as “be the match”, “leadership council”, “spreading awareness” and “buddy system for young kids”.

What kind of role do you see yourself in on the team? What scheme and/or position suits your skill set?

My role on the team has been to lead by example on and off the field. Most people see me as a leader, but my main focus is to do everything in my power to achieve one goal: to win as a player, also as a young man.

I’m expected to have a bigger role here after transferring to South Alabama from CCSU. As of right now, I am learning the role of a nickel and also field safety. It’s becoming very simple for me to adapt without any issues. I have the ability to be a major help with stopping the run, and I can also play single high safety. I’ve also played a lot of special teams. I have the ability to return the ball if needed. Throughout my career I’ve blocked 4 punts coming off the edge. I love special teams.

Who is the best player you have ever played against in college?

One of the best players I’ve ever played against is Nehari Crawford.

Throughout your career, which one of your teammates has impressed you the most?

Throughout my career one of my teammates that has impressed me the most is Tyshaun James.

Describe a time in your life when you were able to overcome a struggle.

My senior year of high school. I never even thought that I was going to make it to college due to my grades in school. I was not really focused on school at that time because I was disappointed from not having as much recruiting scholarships as I thought I would. Central took a chance on me, and it motivated me to get back on track.

If you didn’t play football, what other sport would you play?

If I did not play football I would have probably played soccer, baseball or wrestling.

What is something that you are most proud of? What would you say is your biggest achievement?

I am proud of graduating college, and one of my biggest achievements is being on a full scholarship at a FBS school.

Describe one of the most memorable plays of your collegiate career.

One of my most memorable plays of my collegiate career is blocking my first punt during my first ever college game.
