Tell us about your university/college. What was your major/minor? How is campus life?

I attend Gardner-Webb University. It’s a very small school. My major is Criminal Justice with a minor in Homeland Security. Campus life is what you make it out to be, it’s your opportunity.   

What do your teammates say is your best quality?

A lot of my teammates say I’m very consistent in everything I do, and I’m the same guy everyday. Another thing they say is my leadership skills and how I easily motivate people.

What kind of role do you see yourself in on the team? What scheme and/or position suits your skill set? 

Playing Will Linebacker in the Bourgy. I can play Will LB  in a 4-2-5 and 4-3 and other schemes. I can also play the Slot in zone, Cover Man on the  TE and carrying the Running Back out the back field. I’m also solid in the run game with reading key reads. 

Who is the best player you have ever played against in college?

Mike Basile who played Safety for Monmouth University 

Which one of your teammates impresses you the most?

Izaiah Gathings and Narii Gaither.

Describe a time in your life when you were able to overcome a struggle.

Not having a bedroom to myself from 4th  grade to 12th grade. I stayed down about it but never complained and never really spoke about it to many people. It really humbled me and made me into the grinding person I am today.

If you didn’t play football, what other sport would you play?

I would have run track, 110m hurdles or be a swimmer  

What is something that you are most proud of? What would you say is your biggest achievement?

I am very proud to be selected All-Conference for the Big South my sophomore year. I can’t speak on achievements yet because I haven’t completed my mission yet.

Describe one of the most memorable plays of your collegiate career.

November 11, 2017 3:00 pm vs Monmouth. The first play of the game I ran down on kickoff and smacked the kick returner… It was UGLY.

Do you have a favorite athlete or professional team? Is there a player that you model your game after?

Favorite athlete right now is Jamal Adams. I don’t have a favorite NFL team. Each year, I just root for a different team. I’m not a bandwagon. The past two years I’ve been rooting for the Browns . 

Who is your favorite music artist? What gets you pumped before a game?

Favorite music artist is YFN Lucci, 

What is your favorite comfort food?

Shrimp and Chicken alfredo pasta

Do you have a favorite movie or actor?

Favorite actor is Viola Davis

What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any hobbies?
