Angelo Walker
15 year old high school running back Angelo Walker was shot and killed over the weekend. He was just 1 of 31 people shot and one of seven that died.

Frankford High School running back Angelo Walker was a beast on the football field and this weekend he lost his life to a senseless act of violence.

Walker was riding his bike in Philadelphia on Nassau Road when he was shot and killed.

A violent holiday weekend has left not only a family grieving but an entire football team after the 15-year-old was gunned down. It was a horrible weekend for Philadelphia. 31 people were shot this weekend and seven were killed including Angelo and a 6-year-old. WE need to do better.

Three people were shot by the gunmen according to reports. Two men 35 and 36 were also shot, but Angelo was shot in the head. Angelo was transported to Lankenau Medical Center where he later died.

While many of you are reading this story, another Mother is picking out a casket for her baby. That should not be happening. We need to get this under control. I hate reporting it, but these kids need to be showcased as well. Please keep Angelo’s family and friends in your prayers. We at Draft Diamonds pray for his friends, family and teammates. May God Bless You all and please protect them in this tragic incident.
