What is your major/minor? Did you participate in any other activities or campus organizations other than football?

I’m a Psychology Major. I only really participated in college football. Next semester, I plan to participate in Big Brothers which helps mentor younger children.

What do your teammates say is your best quality?

I’m a competitor. I’m a team player. I have a high motor.

What kind of role do you see yourself in on the team? What scheme and/or position suits your skill set?

I see myself as a leader. I’m somebody that people can talk to. I want my teammates to be comfortable talking to me.

I’m an edge rusher. I like blitzing. That’s mainly what I’ve been doing since I’ve been in college.

Who is the best player you have ever played against in college?

Dameon Pierce, RB, Florida

Which one of your teammates impresses you the most?

Zach Anderson. We grew up together. We’re like brothers. I can always depend on him to make the play. I know he has my back.

Shemar Bridges is a big part of the offense. He’s always gonna make the catch on 3rd down. He’s a very strong player that’s passionate about the game

Describe a time in your life when you were able to overcome a struggle.

Just battling through some minor injuries. I’ve had to tell myself to just push through it. I know I can stand out among my peers

If you didn’t play football, what other sport would you play?

Basketball. That’s gotta be my favorite sport besides football. I played all 4 years in high school, and I’ve even played in the State Final Four.

What is something that you are most proud of? What would you say is your biggest achievement?

I’m really proud that I’m still in college, that I haven’t quit. I’m going to accomplish my goals on the field and in the classroom. I’m going to finish and get a good education.

My biggest achievement was being named first team All-SIAC this past season with 6.5 sacks and 15 TFL.

Describe one of the most memorable plays of your collegiate career.

We were against Morehouse. I got the strip sack, and Demetrious Harris picked up the ball and ran in for the score. I remember running to the sidelines all psyched up. We still talk about that play to this day.

Do you have a favorite athlete or professional team? Is there a player that you model your game after?

Lebron James. He’s not only a great athlete, but he’s also a good role model. Aaron Donald is the best at what he does. He’s the kind of player that everyone wants to be. He moves like a RB. He’s great with his hands and really just a solid overall athlete.

Who is your favorite music artist? What gets you pumped before a game?

Ever since I started playing, I’ve been listening to Tay Keith. It just sets the tone and gives me a positive attitude.

What is your favorite comfort food?

Mr. Chick here in Cairo, GA. People come from everywhere just to eat there.

Do you have a favorite movie or actor?

My favorite movie is August Rush.

What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any hobbies? Any secret talents?

In my spare time, I play basketball. I also like to play NBA 2K and Call of Duty.

Who or what motivates you the most?

My mother motivates me to finish what I started. I also want to do what people don’t really expect. I want to get to the finish line.
