Tell us about your university/college. Did you participate in any other activities or campus organizations other than football?

I attend Shaw University, one of the first Historical Black Colleges/Universities in North Carolina. I have not participated in other activities, it has been vital for me to give my all to football so that I can make it to the next level. 

What do your teammates say is your best quality?

My ability to be very explosive and have a high motor are some qualities my teammates identify. 

What kind of role do you see yourself in on the team? What scheme and/or position suits your skill set?

On the team, I see myself as a game changer. I take over in big time games. I am a versatile player, you can put me at the end position or at linebacker to show off my skill level and athleticism. 

Who is the best player you have ever played against in college?

Farrell Murchsion. He was my former teammate at Louisburg College so I already knew his skill set and what he was capable of. 

Which one of your teammates impresses you the most?

Kevonta Moses. He has a great set of hands and can catch anything 

Describe a time in your life when you were able to overcome a struggle.

A time in my life when I had to overcome a struggle was my junior year of high school. I went through knee surgery and was not able to showcase my abilities or prove myself as an athlete. Football is my escape; it’s one of the tools I use as a coping mechanism. To have that taken away from me caused a lot of stress and was one of the most difficult times of my life. 

If you didn’t play football, what other sport would you play?

If I wasn’t playing football, I would play basketball. I love being explosive, dunking the ball and being able to have a close connection with the fans. 

What is something that you are most proud of? What would you say is your biggest achievement?

I am most proud of how I continue to work through all the difficulties and challenges I have had throughout my life. One of my biggest achievements is to be able to participate in this draft interview.

Describe one of the most memorable plays of your collegiate career.

One of the most memorable plays in college was when I got a sack to send the game into overtime and beat Chowan University.

Do you have a favorite athlete or professional team? Is there a player that you model your game after?

My favorite athlete is Lebron James. I take parts of my game from a couple players like Clowney, Von Miller, and also Demarcus Ware. 

Who is your favorite music artist? What gets you pumped before a game?

I really don’t have a favorite artist , I usually watch the Ray Lewis pump up before every game 

What is your favorite comfort food?

My favorite comfort food is Chicken 

Do you have a favorite movie or actor?

My favorite movie is Planet of The Apes, and my favorite actor is Denzel Washington.

What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any hobbies? Any secret talents?

I workout and play madden or 2k in my spare time.

Who or what motivates you the most?

My family is my number one motivation. I have to make it for them. To be able to get them into a better position is essential. My whole life, I have been seeing them struggle. I made a promise to them that I would go to the League.
