Tell us about your university/college. Did you participate in any other activities or campus organizations other than football?

Sacramento State is a great campus that is well known for the trees that are all around the campus. There are quite a few animals that roam around the school but you don’t have to worry about them, they just mind their business and are friendly. It creates a good vibe with people from different cultures. I was on the track & field team at Sacramento State.

My work ethic

What kind of role do you see yourself in on the team? What scheme and/or position suits your skill set?

I see myself in a role where I am a leader. Part of being a leader at my position is making plays and getting my hands on the ball (strip,interception, or pass breakup). I feel that playing man-to-man suits my game because I like to disrupt the timing of the receiver’s route.

Who is the best player you have ever played against in college?

Frank Darby. 

Which one of your teammates impresses you the most?

Elijah Dotson. He is very versatile at the running back position. He is fast, can catch, and the way he explodes out of holes is amazing, he is very explosive.

Describe a time in your life when you were able to overcome a struggle.

My living situations in high school. There were quite a few times in high school where I lived without water or electricity, or had to stay in a motel and had to manage my school work and sports. 

If you didn’t play football, what other sport would you play?

Track & Field or Basketball. My bests in track are 10.83 in the 100m, 6′ 6.25″ high jump, 24′ 0.5″ long jump and 47′ 3.5″ triple jump.

What is something that you are most proud of? What would you say is your biggest achievement?

Being able to compete at a high level in track and football. Also balancing both with school.

My forced fumble against Arizona State

Do you have a favorite athlete or professional team? Is there a player that you model your game after?

Raiders. I like to take bits and pieces from different corners in the league.

What is your favorite comfort food?

Mexican food. Specifically Taqueria Dos Compadres

Michael B. Jordan

What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any hobbies? Any secret talents?

Who or what motivates you the most?

My family but mostly my mom. Seeing how she carries herself through her struggles and hard work.
