What is the best restaurant in your hometown city?

  • Luxe Restaraunt and Lounge 

When breaking down your film what will stick out? 

  • My Physicality, Football IQ, and Versatility 

If you won the lotto, what is the first thing you would do with the money? 

  • Save 20% of the money and buy my mother a house.

What has been your biggest failure? 

  • I wouldn’t say I have had any failures, I believe God orchestrated everything in my life specifically so I could learn from it and become a better man in the long run.

What do your teammates say is your best quality?

  • I’m a hard worker, and I know how to relate to each and every one of my teammates, I believe that helps me have a good relationship with them and that makes me a more effective leader.

Have you ever had a nickname? What is it?

  • Most people call me Sim or SimGat, I rarely get called by my whole name

What is your degree in, if you do not make it as a football player, what is your dream job? 

  • I graduated in May with a degree in Applied Liberal Studies, I’m pursuing my Masters in Sociology. My dream job would be a Sports Agent or a Football Coach. 

What is your coolest life moment? 

  • Getting saved in 2016 and accepting Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.

What song would you sing at Karaoke night? 

  • Can’t Live Without You by Charlie Wilson

If you could pick any actor to play you in a movie, who are you picking? 

  • Michael B. Jordan

Who is your favorite football team? 

  • Cowboys

If you had a warning label, what would yours say?

  • Beware: He will knock your head off 

What is your biggest fear? 

  • Not accomplishing Gods will and the goals that I have set for myself.

Who is the most underrated player in the NFL? 

  • Budda Baker

Take us through game day, How do you prepare? 

  • I wake up and read my scriptures for the day and I pray. I drink 3 glasses of water and a Pedialyte with each meal before our game. I watch film and listen to music on the bus ride over to the game field. I get my ankles taped and then go out to the field for my individual warmup. I then go back into the locker room and listen to music, and pray until it is time to go out and perform.

Do you have any hobbies? 

  • I like to study the Bible, play video games, study/listen to music, and I am also into fashion.

If you had to compare yourself to someone in the NFL, who would that be? 

  • Kenny Moore, Budda Baker, and Tyrann Matthieu. I believe I’m a mixture of all 3 and we are the same size. Swiss Army knife guys that you can put all over the defense. Very physical, high IQ, playmaking football players. 

Who has been the biggest influence on your life and explain why?

  • My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He has brought me through so many tough life situations and turned it all around for my good to help make me a better and stronger man of God in the long run. My mother and father as well because they are the ones who introduced me to God. 

What motivates you to work hard?

  • My love for the game, to be able to provide for my loved ones and to use my platform to impart the wisdom into other people over the years that I have learned.
