What is the best restaurant in your hometown city? 

  • The Fork in the Road. They have the best Wisconsin fish fry

When breaking down your film what will stick out? 

  • I would say aggressiveness and tenacity. I also think my footwork will stick out.

If you won the lotto, what is the first thing you would do with the money? 

  • I would buy something nice for each of my family members. 

What has been your biggest failure? 

  • Getting cut from the Northern Illinois football program. 

What do your teammates say is your best quality?

  • I would say my personality and humor. I’m a different person when I’m off the field.

Who is the hardest working teammate on your team?

  • Graham Waddington. He was another offensive lineman on St. Cloud State. Graham worked his tail off for several years before finally getting his opportunity and he took full advantage. He did whatever he could to earn that spot. His gritty style of play really stuck out to me.

Have you ever had a nickname? What is it?

  • I have had many nicknames over the years. Most notably The Kraken, big rob, big red.

What is your degree in, if you do not make it as a football player, what is your dream job? 

  • I have a degree in Leadership/Organizational Communication and a minor in Human Relations as well as a minor in Mass Media Communication. I am enrolled In Coaching/Athletic Administration MS graduate programs. The dream job right now is to be a college football coach. 

-What is your coolest life moment? 

  • Going to the Poinsettia Bowl my freshman year At NIU. It was in San Diego, California at the Chargers stadium and it was my first on-field game experience at an NFL stadium.

•What song would you sing at Karaoke night? 

  • Drunk In Love Beyoncé 

If you could pick any actor to play you in a movie, who are you picking? 

  • John Candy

Who is your favorite football team? 

  • The Green Bay Packers 

If you had a warning label, what would yours say?

  • Warning beware of hot environment 

What is your biggest fear? 

  • Disappointing my parents. 

Who is the most underrated player in the NFL? 

  • Corey Linsley

Take us through game day, How do you prepare? 

  • Wake up around 8 am to eat some breakfast. Meet up with my parents. Listen to music all the way up to gamete. 

Do you have any hobbies? 

  • I enjoy listening to music, golfing, and the occasional game of Madden or 2k.

If you had to compare yourself to someone in the NFL, who would that be? 

  • Joe Staley. I appreciate the way he plays the game and his mental preparation.

Who has been the biggest influence on your life and explain why?

  • My Father. He has always had a passion for sports and that rubbed off on me. He is my biggest supporter. 

What motivates you to work hard?

  • All the time people have told me I wasn’t good enough. I want to prove those people wrong.
