Tell us about your university/college. What was your major/minor? How is campus life?

Monmouth is a great school and what makes it even better is that the school is located on the beach. The Summer/Fall is the best times to be at Monmouth. I’m currently majoring in Communications.

What do your teammates say is your best quality?

I think my teammates would say that I’m a leader, and I wouldn’t tell them to do anything I wouldn’t do. Next to that is the way that I work very hard and lead by example while doing that. I’m very reliable and you can count on me at all times.

What kind of role do you see yourself in on the team? What scheme and/or position suits your skill set?

I’m a captain on the team and I believe that my teammates depend on me to set the standard and make sure everyone is held accountable. My skill set is unique because I can virtually do whatever the coach needs of me. I’m a speedy/twitchy playmaker that can stretch the field and make plays by getting the ball to me quick and in space. To add to that I will go up and get the ball at any cost.

Who is the best player you have ever played against in college?

I think Western Michigan had the best DB core I played against in college thus far. I don’t know any names, but they were pretty solid.

Which one of your teammates impresses you the most?

Reggie White Jr. definitely impressed me the most while he was here at Monmouth. He was my host to my visit while in high school and was a big reason I came to Monmouth. He taught me a lot about playing receiver and had a great career at playing here.

Describe a time in your life when you were able to overcome a struggle.

My biggest struggle was when my twin sister passed away my sophomore year a week before our birthday. That struggle will always be there but I try to use it as motivation and it fuels me. So I dedicate everything I do for her.

If you didn’t play football, what other sport would you play?

My first love was playing basketball and I was pretty damn good at it. I had to decide in high school which route I wanted to take. Ultimately football took over and I fell much more in love with football. I could also have played baseball as I did when I was younger. I played shortstop and lead off hitter.

What is something that you are most proud of?

I’m proud that I’m able to get a free education while chasing my dream of playing in the NFL.

What would you say is your biggest achievement?

So far my biggest achievement while in college is winning the Big South Championship. It feels great when you worked so hard and it pays off and you get something to show for. The next goal is winning the National Championship.

Describe one of the most memorable plays of your collegiate career.

My most memorable play is scoring the winning touchdown on 4th down with :20 seconds left @ Wagner’s Homecoming Game.

Do you have a favorite athlete or professional team? Is there a player that you model your game after?

My favorite team’s are the Eagles and Sixers. My favorite player is Desean Jackson, and he has been ever since he got drafted to the eagles. I model a lot of aspects of his game to my game. I believe that we have similar Deep Threat abilities. Another player I like is Steve Smith Sr. He is electric, and he will let you know how electric he is. Those two guys are guys that I like to resemble. My all time favorite athlete is Kobe Bryant because he is a straight killer. He will do whatever it takes to win and his mentality is unmatched. It’s very rare that you see athletes and the skill set to back up the mentality that he has. His work ethic is unlike anything you have seen.

Who is your favorite music artist? What gets you pumped before a game?

My favorite artists are G-Herbo, Future and Meek Mill. I will be listening to any three of those guys before a game because they get me in a zone and I feel focused on the task at hand.

What is your favorite comfort food?

My favorite food would probably be some Hot n Honey wings from the local pizzeria.

Do you have a favorite movie or actor?

My favorite actors are Denzel Washington and Mike Epps.

What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any hobbies?

In my spare time I chill with my family or you can catch me playing videos like Madden and 2k.

Who or what motivates you the most?

What motivates me most is just my will to want to be the best. I’ve always had a chip on my shoulder since I was young. I’m a firm believer in the Mamba Mentality.
