Transfer Portal OL Jauan Williams arrested for reportedly choking and punching a female in 2018
Former Florida State offensive lineman Jauan Williams was arrested on a charge of battery touching or striking on Wednesday, May 20 from an incident that reportedly happened in 2018/19.
Williams is a monster of a man at 6070 and weights 310 pounds. The former offensive lineman from Florida State recently placed his name in the transfer portal, but could have a hard time finding a home.
According to an affidavit, the woman claims that Williams sexually harassed her and was violent towards her.
The charges stem from separate incidents involving Williams and his girlfriend.
Williams reportedly choked and punched the woman, in addition to threatening her once she went to police. The incidents happened in 2018 — and in 2019, after initially withdrawing her complaints, she proceeded with the case, per Tomahawk Nation.
Williams is a Washington, DC native who appeared in five games in the 2019 season starting two of them. He was a solid offensive lineman coming out of high school, but these allegations are harsh.
