Coach Gerald Howse dead
Former Georgia State running back is dead at the age of 28. Gerald Howse passed away this weekend.

Gerald Howse was quite the running back for Siegel High School years ago. In his senior year, he rushed for 1,072 yards and nine touchdowns in his senior season at Siegel.

His great running skills paved a path for him to go to Northeastern Oklahoma A&M which was a JUCO school in Oklahoma. He would leave Northeastern after a standout year to finish off his college career at Georgia State.

After a solid college career, Howse found a passion for coaching.

He recently took a position at Tennessee Tech. The 28-year-old former back was an assistant coach.

Before coaching at Tennessee Tech, Howse served as running backs coach at Northwestern State. Prior to that, he spent one season at Oklahoma Baptist and one at Northeast Oklahoma A&M College.

Please keep the Howse family in your prayers, and please lift up the players at Tech.
