HS Football standout gunned down in Seattle, dying in his Mother’s arms on Mother’s Day
Mother’s Day did not go as well as Conner Dassa-Holland’s Mom expected. While spending time with her child, the 18 year old captain of his football team at Rainier Beach High School was gunned down in his vehicle parked in the front of their house.
Dassa-Holland was recently accepted at the University of Washington and was the class president for his school. He mentored youth and was a suicide prevention counselor, so this act makes no sense.

Mother’s Day will never be the same for Alicia Dassa. Her son was gunned down right outside their home and it appeared to be a random shooting.
“But I got to hold my baby. I got to tell him that I love him and that he wasn’t alone and that we would always be with him,” she said, “most people don’t get that.” – KIRO 7 news
Police arrived and found the teenager with gunshot wounds inside a vehicle. Officers performed first aid on Dassa-Holland until Seattle Fire Department Medics took the victim to Harborview Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made and police are still investigating a motive.
This continues to happen to our youth, and it makes no sense. We have had two acts like this in the past month in Florida. Now, another across the map. I please ask for prayers for James and Alicia Dassa-Holland. Please keep them in your prayers.
