What is the best restaurant in your hometown city?

Chipotle. I know it sounds basic, but Chipotle is a healthy fast food restaurant. It’s easy for when you’re on the go.

When breaking down your film what will stick out?

I feel like the way I play the game, you’ll see effort. Which means running after the ball, having a motor, and executing a good technique.

If you won the lotto, what is the first thing you would do with the money?

I would save half of the money, probably put it in an investment account. With the remaining half, I’d help my extended family. And give back to others that have helped me throughout my personal and athletic journey.

What has been your biggest failure?

My biggest failure was not taking my grades seriously in high school. I had many offers to play at big programs, but unfortunately my lack of attention towards my grades hindered me. I take ownership for this. If I could go back to the past, I would do high school over again. I learned that whenever you have an opportunity in front of you, you should take full advantage of it and not waste time. Even if you don’t feel like doing it, put your 100% effort. It’ll pay off.

What do your teammates say is your best quality?

They say that I’m a hard worker, even when practices and games become challenging. I always find a way to persevere. This attitude carries over into my life as well. It’s not only about football but how to carry over in life as well.

Who is the hardest working teammate on your team?

Wesley Wolfolk. He leads by example on and off the field. He has an incredible work ethic.

Have you ever had a nickname? What is it?

Big Cheem or Big Dunga.

What is your degree in, if you do not make it as a football player, what is your dream job?

My degree is in applied liberal studies. I would like to get into coaching, sports broadcaster, and become a franchise owner of a Chipotle or WingStop. I’m also interested in investing in real estate.

What is your coolest life moment?

First one is receiving my first division 1 offer. I felt like I was on top of the world. Invincibile. I’ll cheat and add a second one. It was playing in the AT&T Stadium and the USA Football vs Canada International Bowl in 2015.

What song would you sing at Karaoke night?

Wow, I’ve got so many songs. I’m a bit of an old head when it comes to music. I’m into r&b music from the 70s – 90s.  Groove thang by Zhane is my number one. I love that song.

If you could pick any actor to play you in a movie, who are you picking?

That’s a good question. Obviously a big guy for me. It would be Terry Crews.

Who is your favorite football team?

The Los Angeles Rams, because of Aaron Donald. He’s my role model and the type of player that I aspire to be. We also play the same positions and have similar body types. He plays the game with passion.  He’s an unstoppable force at the defensive tackle position.

If you had a warning label, what would yours say?

Stand back, a beast is coming through. Period.

What is your biggest fear?

Not fulfilling all my goals that I have in life.

Who is the most underrated player in the NFL?

Grady Jarret. I think he’s one of the top defensive tackles in the NFL, but doesn’t get enough credit. He’s overlooked because not too many people pay attention to him.

Take us through game day, How do you prepare?

The night before game day, I hydrate with a lot of water and I make sure that I stretch and relax and watch film of the opposing team. Then the next morning I wake up, pray to God. Listen to music. And then from there, I leave it all on the field. I make sure every snap is 100%.

Do you have any hobbies?

I like watching Netflix. Especially the shows The Walking Dead and All American. I like to work out in my spare time. I make sure that I keep in contact with all my friends outside of school and football when I’m back home. I’m really cool with many of my highschool and JUCO friends.

If you had to compare yourself to someone in the NFL, who would that be?

Aaron Donald.

Who has been the biggest influence on your life and explain why?

My mom. She taught me perseverance and how to overcome every obstacle and never lose faith in God. At the end of the tunnel there’s always a light.

What motivates you to work hard?

I want a better life for myself, for my family, and my extended family in Nigeria. I feel like playing football is going to be one of the things that unites my family. I feel Like hard work can’t be denied .
