XFL suspends operations and employees have been laid off

An XFL football is shown during the XFL team’s opening practice at TDECU Stadium on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2019, in Houston.

Today, the XFL suspended all league operations and every employee has been laid off. There are many things floating around the internet about the league right now. Some think the league is over for good.

Neil Stratton of Inside the League spoke to three members of XFL front offices who believe the league is “no more”.

That would be insane, especially with the league reimbursing all tickets sales in the 2021 XFL Season. Ben Fischer said that the XFL gave all their money back for ticket sales in the 2021 XFL season.

So with the employees being laid off, and the league refunding money, some think the XFL could be folding.
