Tarvaris Jackson was killed in a car accident last night in Alabama.

Former Second Round pick of the Minnesota Vikings, Tarvaris Jackson was killed in a motor accident in Alabama on Sunday Night.

NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport confirmed the tragic news through Tennessee State University, where Jackson was a quality control and quarterbacks coach on the football team.

Jackson was drafted in the second round by the Minnesota Vikings in the 2006 NFL Draft and played 10 years in the NFL. He was a starter who went 10-10 in 20 career starts throwing 39 touchdowns with 35 interceptions.

Jackson played college football at Arkansas and Alabama State, and in the National Football League (NFL) for the Minnesota Vikings, Seattle Seahawks, and Buffalo Bills.
