Kilgore College: Was a second-team all-conference outside linebacker in 2017 at Kilgore (Texas) College after helping coach J.J. Eckert’s Rangers to a 5-4 campaign … Posted 53 tackles, 12 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks as a sophomore … Stopped 38 ball carriers as a freshman for a 6-5 KC team.

2018: Named to MVFC All-Newcomer Team … Had team high 10.5 tackles for loss and shared team lead with 6.0 sacks … Ranked 67th nationally with 0.55 sacks per game which was 8th in the MVFC … Finished season with 39 total tackles and 14 solo efforts … Had 2 sacks at South Dakota as part of a 5-tackle performance (10/6/18) … Posted 1.5 tackles for loss in win over No. 20 Northern Arizona (9/15/18) and in home win over No. 9 Illinois State (9/29/18) … Also had 4 quarterback hurries in win vs. No. 9 Illinois State … Was in on at least one sack in his first 6 games at MSU … Logged season-high 6 tackles vs. Southern Illinois (10/27/18) … Produced 4 solo stops, 5 total tackles, and 2.0 sacks at South Dakota (10/6/18) … Recognized on MVFC Honor Roll … Named to MSU Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for fall semester.

While at Kilgore College, McClellan developed his speed rushing abilities. McClellan worked hard while at Kilgore College which led to him being able to transfer to Missouri State.

McClellan was the Bears’ most-feared pass rusher, posting tackles for loss in seven different games his senior year. He finished the 2019 season with 36 total tackles, 8.0 tackles for loss and 3.0 sacks. He brought down nine ball carriers in the season opener at Northern Arizona and later logged a pair of sacks in the Bears’ win at Western Illinois. He finished his two-year career with the Bears with 75 total tackles, 18.5 tackles for loss and 9.0 sacks in just 22 games. McClellan showed high-end quickness when rushing the passer. McClellan continues to stay in shape and is currently residing in Houston, Texas. He is currently at Graduate School at Texas Southern University. He believes strongly in his education and is thankful for all his opportunities. McClellan continues to look forward to playing football professionally at the next level.  McClellan can contribute to a team immediately. He has played the Linebacker position as well.
