Louisville recruit Dexter Rentz Jr. shot and killed in Florida
Recently, I went to the park in Clermont, Florida to pray for people and pass out bibles. When my church was there preaching the Gospel, we met a bunch of players from Ocoee High School.
I remember a couple of the kids really well because they asked me for Bibles. One of those kids was Dexter Rentz Jr. a senior slot WR/CB at Ocoee who signed his letter of intent with Louisville. He was a good kid, and today he is meeting with Jesus.
Ocoee High football player and Louisville signee Dexter Rentz Jr. died after being shot late Saturday night, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
Rentz, a cornerback/slot receiver, and Ocoee teammate Lovie Jenkins signed with the University of Louisville in December.
Rest In Peace little man!
