Please pray for NFL Agent Buddy Baker who lost both his parents 6 minutes apart from COVID-19

As the owner of NFL Draft Diamonds, I have worked with many agents over the years, and one agent that really embraced my company and my overall goal is Buddy Baker. Buddy has 13 players in the NFL and is the president/CEO of Exclusive Sports Group LLC.

Buddy recently went to Twitter to post a video about losing his parents to the coronavirus. Yes, we are not talking about one parent, but both. They died six minutes apart, which is so tragic.

On March 31, Baker announced that both of his parents, Stuart Baker, 74, and Adrian Baker, 72, died due to complications from the coronavirus. The couple had been married for 51 years, he said, and died just six minutes apart.

Baker told ABC News, his parents were in perfect health until three weeks ago when they visited their doctor, who told both of them that they may have a slight case of pneumonia but should be fine. When they continued to feel worse, his parents went to the hospital on March 19.

His father was admitted while his mother was sent home. His father’s condition began to worsen and he was being told his father may not make it. While this was happening his mother’s condition began to worsen as well. As a precautionary measure, he decided to get his Mother to the hospital in case she had an anxiety attack if something happened to her husband. When they arrived at the hospital, his Mother’s condition turned grave.

Both the parents were taken off the ventilators to be comfortable and both passed. In this tragic event, we please ask for your prayers. Buddy is a great human being and we offer our condolences. May God protect Buddy and his family in this tough time.
