2021 NFL Draft Prospect: Aqeel Glass, QB from Alabama A&M
By: Brandon Gubitosa
One of the first players we will be looking at in our 2021 NFL Draft class is Alabama A&M Quarterback Aqeel Glass.
The 6-foot-5, 215 pound signal caller out of St.Louis, Missouri burst onto the scene during his junior season as he passed for a school record 3,600 yards and 32 touchdowns. Glass was named second-team all-SWAC on offense last season finishing seventh in the FCS in passing.

Glass has been the team’s starting quarterback since 2017, his freshman year. Since then he has passed for 7,213 yards and 57 touchdowns. The pro-style signal caller entering his senior campaign is a name to watch this upcoming college football season.

1️⃣ | @AAMUBulldogs really did that ? Aqeel Glass fires a pass to Zay Moore and he makes a ONE HANDED CATCH to swing the momentum in the Magic City Classic!! pic.twitter.com/goEvjE2Pcx
Alabama A & M’s most notable game this season is November 21st as they travel to SEC opponent Mississippi State which will surely be a game that scouts and coaches across the nation will have their eyes on.
Scouting Notes:
Aqeel reminds me of Philip Rivers. The AAMU star can make every NFL throw, he has a deep ball and can throw a rocket of a pass across the middle. Glass is a big kid that is hard to bring down and he has some deep threats on his team. This year I expect Glass to have a solid year and end up at an All-Star Game. He maybe the best HBCU quarterback in the entire draft. – Damond Talbot – Draft Diamonds owner
